History & outlook
Blue table cells indicate actuals; amber cells indicate forecasts. Hover a value for its status. The 2026 annual forecast combines actual and forecast months; quarterly views show the split. † marks a provisional actual that may be revised.
A range of possible outcomes
The forecast band shows the low (10th percentile) to high (90th percentile) cases. It represents the middle 80% of modelled outcomes under the model’s assumptions. Hover or focus a forecast point for low, central and high values.
Comparable measures
Rig values are period averages; wells are period totals. Four quarterly rig values average to the annual figure, while quarterly wells add to it. Calculations use full precision; only displayed figures are rounded.
Coverage & missing history
The drilling total covers AB, BC, SK and MB. Wells have shorter histories, so unavailable periods appear as gaps and “Not available.” Canada service rigs are reported separately.
